Why we built it

South Africa runs one of the largest, most transparent public procurement pipelines in the world. Every tender is a paperwork invitation to grow a small business — ifyou can find the ones that fit before they close. Most owner-operators can't. They rely on WhatsApp forwards, third-party newsletters, or one harried employee scrolling eTenders on a Sunday night.

The information asymmetry isn't because the data is locked away. It's public. The asymmetry is in reading it. The tender you should bid on is 40 pages, in a specific typography of legalese, and the answer to "is this even for me?" is three questions deep. Most people give up before question one.

TenderFit is the software layer between the feed and the founder. It reads every notice, checks the credentials you already have, and hands you the shortlist that actually matches your business — with a one-line take on why.

What we don't do

• We don't bid for you. Preparing a bid is craft. We shorten your reading time, not your bidding time.
• We aren't a broker.No middleman fee, no "success cut". You pay a flat monthly subscription and keep every rand you win.
• We don't hoard data. Every tender we index is already public. Every score we compute belongs to you.

Where we are

Built in South Africa, priced in ZAR, hosted regionally. Everything you see today is the first working version — the OCDS ingest, the fit scoring, the pipeline board, the daily digest. What's next: threshold learning from your overrides, deeper eligibility checks against CIDB and CSD directly, tender-history intelligence ("this department pays 60 days late"), and a browsable supplier co-op.
